Statutory Warranty<\/strong><\/p><p>Our products are subject to the mandatory warranty rules in force in Hungary, as they qualify as furniture. The warranty period depends on the product\u2019s gross retail price:<\/p><ul><li>For a retail price between HUF 10,000 and HUF 250,000: <strong>2 years mandatory warranty<\/strong><\/li><li>For a retail price above HUF 250,000: <strong>3 years mandatory warranty<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>The warranty period begins on the day the product is handed over to the consumer. During the warranty period, the customer may request <strong>free repair<\/strong>, <strong>replacement<\/strong>, or, in certain cases, a <strong>refund of the purchase price<\/strong>.<\/p><p><strong>What the warranty covers<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>If the defect cannot be remedied during the first repair attempt, the product will be replaced or, if replacement is not possible, the purchase price will be refunded.<\/li><li>If, after three repairs, the defect recurs, the customer may request replacement or a refund of the purchase price.<\/li><li>Repairs are performed <strong>within 15 days<\/strong>; if this is not possible, we will provide written information about the expected deadline.<\/li><li>Warranty claims must be submitted in writing, with the purchase invoice attached.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>What the warranty does not cover<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Natural variations in the veining, color and pattern of natural materials (marble, limestone, wood).<\/li><li>Damage resulting from improper use, incorrect handling, storage, or maintenance.<\/li><li>Damage caused by accident, moisture, heat, scratches, impact, or chemicals.<\/li><\/ul><p>The warranty certificate is sent electronically (by email) and remains available for the entire warranty period.<\/p><p><strong>2. Statutory Guarantee (Kell\u00e9kszavatoss\u00e1g)<\/strong><\/p><p>In addition to the warranty, the consumer is also entitled to statutory guarantee rights. A guarantee claim can be asserted <strong>within 2 years<\/strong> from the date of delivery.<\/p><p>The customer may request repair or replacement of the product; if these are not possible, they may request a price reduction or withdraw from the contract. Within <strong>1 year<\/strong> from the date of purchase, it is presumed that the defect already existed at the time of performance; therefore, during this period, the burden of proof lies with the business.<\/p><p><strong>3. Product Guarantee (Term\u00e9kszavatoss\u00e1g)<\/strong><\/p><p>If the product is defective, the consumer may also request repair or replacement from the manufacturer within <strong>2 years<\/strong> from the product\u2019s placement on the market.<\/p><p><strong>4. Right of Withdrawal \u2013 Custom Orders<\/strong><\/p><p>In our webshop, many products are made to order (based on size, shape, and material selection). According to the applicable legislation, for such products that are not pre-fabricated and are produced specifically at the consumer\u2019s request or to their personal specifications, the <strong>14-day right of withdrawal without justification does not apply<\/strong>.<\/p><div class=\"note\"><p><strong>Not considered a defect:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>variation in the grain and color tone of natural stone and wood,<\/li><li>surface pattern differences inherent to the natural origin of the raw material,<\/li><li>minor, non-functional deviations typical of handmade items.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><p><strong>5. Fault Reporting and Service<\/strong><\/p><p>We accept fault reports in writing:<\/p><p>\ud83d\udce9 <a href=\"mailto:info@artofcosyhome.com\">info@artofcosyhome.com<\/a><\/p><p>Please attach the proof of purchase, a brief description of the defect, and a photo or video. We begin processing reports <strong>within 5 business days<\/strong> and will inform you in writing about the next steps.<\/p><p><strong>6. Legal Remedies<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Submitting a complaint to the competent <strong>conciliation board<\/strong><\/li><li>Initiating a procedure with the <strong>consumer protection authority<\/strong><\/li><li>Taking legal action through <strong>civil court proceedings<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><div class=\"meta\"><p><em>Last updated: 22 October 2025<\/em><\/p><p><small>This policy may form part of the Terms and Conditions.
